ELECTION INFORMATION:

VOTING DISTRICT UPDATE:  **PLEASE NOTE**:  The Borough's voting district map has been revised as of 2024 and is effective immediately to include a total of five districts.  The district map is available here.  Please take note of your district on the 2024 Primary Election sample ballot which may differ from past elections.  All five districts will vote at Notre Dame Church (lower level) as always.  A Borough representative will be present at the polling place to direct you and answer any questions you may have.  In the meantime, please contact the Borough Clerk at ncclerk@northcaldwell.org or at 973-228-6411 should you have any questions or concerns.

Change of Party Affiliation:  The deadline for Change of Party Affiliation Declaration Forms for Primary Elections is 55 days before election and are to be filed with Essex County Commissioners of Registration as per N.J.S.A. 19:23-45. Obtain voter registration/party affiliation change forms at https://www.essexclerk.com/_Content/pdf/forms/Voter-Register-Eng-09-08.pdf.

How to Vote:
1.  In person at North Caldwell's polling place - Notre Dame Church, 359 Central Avenue, lower level.
2.  By mail - return your mail-in ballot to:  a.) the North Caldwell mail-in ballot box in front of Borough Hall, b.) any Essex County mail-in ballot drop box, c.) any USPS post office or mailbox (must be postmarked by 8pm on Election Day and received within 6 days post-election), d.) the Essex County Board of Elections by 8pm on Election Day.
3.  Early voting - at designated locations in Essex County prior to Election Day.
