As springtime weather draws us outdoors, keep in mind that we share our neighborhoods with wildlife. If you encounter a sickly or mangy wild animal, please call North Caldwell Animal Control at 973-228-6410 or the non-emergency Police phone line at 973-226-0800 to report the animal(s). Coyotes and foxes have been reported in town, especially near wooded areas. Please use caution when walking pets and spending time outdoors especially with young children.
