Wood Chips
Wood chips are available at no charge to all Borough of North Caldwell residents. Residents may help themselves to wood chips from the pile located at the municipal pool parking lot on Gould. Avenue. Residents may take as many wood chips as they wish. Dumping at this site however is strictly prohibited.
Batteries
Alkaline batteries (standard non-rechargeable batteries) are not considered as toxic waste under the EPA regulations. These batteries can be disposed of in the general trash and should not be placed in the drop off at Borough Hall. The Department of Public Works has completed the courtesy curbside collection of branches.
If you wish to dispose of additional branches, you may place them in accordance with our bulk garbage collection schedule and rules or make private arrangements for their disposal.
