Borough of North Caldwell Recreation Department Mission Statement
It is our mission to provide a variety of recreational services and experiences through programming and related activities to enhance the enjoyment of life for residents of all ages. North Caldwell will continue to support programs that provide social, athletic and cultural opportunities that will bring its residents together to create a sense of community pride.
The Recreation Department offers a wide variety of activities, sports and programs for residents of all ages.

All of the Sports Programs and Camps require a registration fee in order to cover the cost of operation. Many of these programs have limited participation. In order to ensure enrollment and avoid a late registration fee it is very important to be aware of the registration deadlines. Once the deadline has past your child’s name will be placed on a waiting list, and if placed in program a late fee will be assessed to the program fee. All registration forms are distributed through Grandview and Gould Schools, in The Progress in addition to the outdoor bulletin board located by the Recreation Department & marquee located outside Borough Hall. . In addition registration forms for all programs are available in the carousel set outside the recreation office.

If your child attends private school, we keep a database and mail registration forms home for each appropriate age group. Private School forms can be obtained at the Recreation office or via e-mail. Please e-mail the Recreation Department at Recreation@northcaldwell.org with your child/children’s name(s), grade(s), school attending, address, phone number and parent’s name. We will mail Recreation announcements directly to your home.
We also maintain a database for our 3 to 5 year old programs and will mail all flyers and program registrations applicable to this age group. Make sure your child’s name is on this list.
