NORTH CALDWELL COMMUNITY POOL

Our Town pool is a six lane, 25 meter pool with a wading area and diving well, diving board and 2 fun slides. The pool will be open weekends only beginning Memorial Day and will be open daily beginning when school is out for the summer through Labor Day. Pool hours are 11:00am until 7:45pm. Special events such as Adult and Teen splash parties are scheduled during the summer months. The pool area contains numerous activity facilities to enhance the enjoyment of members. Available is basketball, volleyball, ping-pong, playing ground area and a kiddie pool. Chairs and umbrellas are provided. A snack bar is on premise and operated by a carefully chosen concessionaire. There are various membership categories; Family, Couple both Adult and Senior Citizen, Individual Adult, Individual Junior and Individual Senior Citizen. Registration forms will be available in the Recreation Office for new members. Prior pool members will receive their application through the mail.

Swim Team

DARE TO SWIM WITH THE SHARKS Our successful summer swim team is always looking for new recruits. Practices begin daily once school is finished Monday through Friday 8:30-9:30 am. (There will be a few pre season practices mid June weather and temperature permitting during the week and sometimes on a Saturday). Generally the meets are held the last week of June through the third week of July, with divisional and championship meets held near the end of July.

Swim Lessons

Five sessions of summer swim lessons are offered at the pool. You must be a member of the pool to participate. You may choose one, two or all three sessions for your child. Session 1 begins right after school is over for 8 classes, the next session follows immediately for another 8 lessons and the third session is usually over by the end of summer Fun. Swim School is instructed by lifeguards who are also certified WSI instructors and are qualified to teach children swim lessons. Swim School is from 11:00
